Seaberry (Hippophae rhamnoides) is a very hardy nitrogen fixing thorny shrub that produces small orange berries that are considered a "superfood". Wikipedia entry for Seaberry.
Slow growing the first year, but they really take off in the subsequent years. Plants come in males and females, so plant two or more to produce fruit.
These 1-year seedlings range in height from 3 to 8 inches.
