Yeah it's fruit but you can't eat it, because you aren't a giant prehistoric sloth roaming the north american continent 15,000 years ago, and let's face it... as much as you would like to be one you ain't no woolly mammoth neither. As a handy human however you can use this tree to produce what was regarded by the Native Americans as the most resilient, strong, flexible, and water resistant of all woods.
