
Schubert Chokecherries (Prunus virginiana ‘Schubert’) leaf out in the spring with light green leaves that turn deep purple in the summer. Schubert Chokecherry Produces small purple fruit much loved by birds. Grows as a multi-stemmed shrub, although it can be grown as a single-stemmed tree by pruning the suckers.
