Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa) is a large-growing oak in the white oak group, producing low-tannin acorns that can be eaten with minimal soaking, or even raw if you don't mind a little tannic flavor.
These trees are first year, 4 to 8 inch tall bareroot seedlings, grown from nuts collected from the largest Bur Oak tree growing in the state of Montana.
