White Fringe Tree (Chionanthus virginicus) is a small ornamental tree native to North America, famous for its finely textured white flowers. It makes small purple berries that are reportedly edible, but we're not sure how you cook with them.
Very slow growing in the early years but later on they can grow 6 to 8 inches per year. These are 3rd year seedlings that are 4 to 6 inches tall, bare root.
