American Hackberry (Celtis occidentalis) is a tough, hardy tree that produces unique edible fruits that are often described as being like a nut and a berry at the same time ~ a tasty seed surrounded by a thin layer of sweet fruit. Grown from seeds collected in Missoula.
These are 2nd year seedlings, 16 to 24 inches tall, bare root.
