Ashworth Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa) is a large-growing oak in the white oak group, producing low-tannin acorns that can be eaten with minimal soaking, or even raw if you don't mind a little tannic flavor.
These trees are 3rd year, 8 to 16 inch tall bareroot seedlings, grown from nuts collected from renowned variety "Ashworth". They aren't the actual variety Ashword, but rather the children of Ashworth.
