These Deep Purple Crabapple (Malus sp. ) seedlings are grown from a crabapple tree near our house that has deep purple crabapples. The fruits of the parent tree have excellent flavor and color and can be used to make cider, sauce, and jams/jellies.
Summer foliage color of these seedlings ranges from dark green tinged with purple to all the way purple with no green.
These are 2 year old, 2 to 3 foot tall bare-root seedlings.
