1 year old Gambel Oak Seedling (quercus Gamebelii)

Low-growing drought-tolerant oak native to the intermountain western US. Very drought and fire tolerant once established, takes browsing like a champ. Produces lots of acorns at an early age, seemingly every year without a year off, very productive similar to dwarf chinkapin oak, but with a more traditional white oak shaped leaf. Acorns are 1/2 inch wide by 1 inch long.

6 to 8 inch tall 1 year old seedling.
